I saw my girlfriend …
I saw my girlfriend watching this video and I don’t understand you Tyra. I’ve seen you so many times saying that girls should love themselves as they are. But you have fake blonde hair, lashes, and you do something creepy to your nose to make it look thinner and I think that’s a very contradictory message to girls. I’m a guy that loves women with no makeup on and once in a while a little bit of something. I just hate when it looks like a mask; I just want to peel it off. Girls, less is more.

I disagree. I believe that girls buy those products so that they can look like the woman in the commercial. I believe THAT’S the direct motive of advertisers and whether guys will like you is a secondary implication. Girls want to look like say, Kate Moss because they see her life and her status and want that. Guys are part of the equation, but again, it’s not the primary motive.

Ash, comercials that say this is how you look good so he’ll like you.
obcourse women are in the comercials as an example of how to look.
guys want ‘look good’ or have specific likes such as bust or smille, blonde or brunnette. Women and artists get in the details of how it works and create variations. how many guys care or notice the various shades of blonde? that when they think its all a bit nutts.

It depends on the …
It depends on the foundation: cream, liquid, powder etc. and the concealer.
I put my concealer over my liquid foundation and then use a powder on top, but if you’re using a powder only as foundation, concealer first and powder second. Powder seals everything in basically.
